On Grief
Grief comes in many forms.
It can be the loss of a loved one, friend, job, or way of life. Mary Eileen brings a non-judgmental perspective and deep curiosity about all the different ways grief can express itself.
Grief can be a lifelong process.
Grief is not something you complete, accomplish, or get over, it is a new process of living. This new, unplanned life can be difficult to navigate and having someone who walks beside you can be supportive. It is Mary Eileen’s intention to walk beside and be a witness to your journey as your new life emerges.
Grief is an opening to a sacred space within.
As a universal experience, grief brings us in touch with a true felt sense of interconnectedness. Contemplating impermanence and immortality can be a challenge and in grief there is often deep longing, missing, and emptiness. It is a place people don't easily enter into or often share with others. Mary Eileen is deeply moved by the courage of those who desire to open and truly see their own losses. She aims to help those who want to make the courageous journey in and through grief possible by offering guidance along the way.
